This on-line directory targets ITS professionals worldwide and aims at encouraging contacts between them. It has solely networking purposes and only authorised users have access to it. Be assured that any data you provide will NOT be sold to third parties.

In order to be part of the directory, you must read and accept all the Terms & Conditions including the User agreement as well as the Privacy policy. If you accept to be bound by this agreement, you may fill in a registration form including your coordinates, education summary and/or biography, area(s) of expertise and your favourite ITS Topics.

Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk, others are optional and can be completed later. However, by making sure that your registration form is complete, you increase your chances of being selected by other users, by means of an advanced search facility. Please note that these results are shown as aggregated data but cannot be automatically copied or saved.

This site complies with stringent Spanish Organic Law 15/1999 dated on 13 December, 1999 on the "Protection of Personal Data" (LOPD) covering all aspects related to personal data protection.

According to Art. 12 of the Spanish Law 34/2002 dated on 11 July 2002, on the "Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce" (LSSI), we at ITS España (ITS Spain) are obliged to keep the transmission data obtained by electronic communications with a dedicated server, for a period of twelve months. The automated file storing personal data is under our responsibility.

Any time, you may exercise your right to access, rectify, cancel and oppose as set forth in the LOPD, by updating your own data or contacting ITS Spain in writing (using English or Spanish language) as follows:

The input of erroneous or incomplete data in the different registration forms may prevent us from contacting you. We trust that the information and personal data you provide is accurate and up-to-date, and that you authorise us to process them under the above-mentioned conditions.

We inform you that the necessary technical and organisational security measures have been taken in order to guarantee the privacy of your personal data and to avoid any alteration, loss or unauthorised handling and/or access. Any attempt to use the directory for other than networking purposes will immediately be detected by the system and such a practice is prohibited. The administrator may refuse entry to any user without justification. (Minors under 18 years old or users already removed from the system are not eligible). Users are not allowed to sell any data available in the Directory.

Any information provided on this web site is the sole responsibility of the user. ITS España (ITS Spain) will not be liable for any errors or omissions in any content of the directory or for any inaccuracy of any communications between users. ITS España (ITS Spain) will not be responsible for any loss or damages.

For your convenience, this web site offers links to other web sites that may have a different Privacy policy. We recommend that you examine the respective clauses regarding data protection. Under no circumstances is personal data exchanged with these external web sites. ITS España (ITS Spain) shall not be responsible for any content or any other aspect related to web sites belonging to or operated by third parties.

Any dispute concerning the Terms & Conditions of this World ITS Directory will be settled by the Spanish Law.

Security
Once submitted, the administrator (bound by strict confidentiality rules) will review your data carefully and will validate your entry, if deemed appropriate. This validation will trigger a username and password which will be sent to you via e-mail. As all passwords benefit from a high level of encryption, you will be the only one to know it. If you have forgotten it, you will have the possibility of choosing another one. Please note that you are responsible for keeping your login data safe and confidential.

All communications between the user and this web site, while logged in, are protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.

For each visit to this web site, the administrator can identify the IP address of any computer and/or the proxy server used to access the internet. This information might be used to detect possible misuses of the directory but will definitely not be shared with third parties.

Please note that this directory is totally advertising-free. The only promotional material available can be found on the “Sponsor News” link located in the home page. It is under each sponsor’s responsibility and will in no way be sent to any directory users.
